Our Chapter

The Montgomery/Prince George's County Chapter of AGA is a diverse group of financial managers, accountants, and auditors. Members come from CPA firms, federal, state and local government. Meetings provide a opportunity for members to share information with others interested in financial topics. Each dinner meeting has a guest speaker that discusses a topic related to accounting, auditing or financial management issues. Additionally, the dinner meetings provide an opportunity for networking.

Community Service Donation Drive

Date:  October 15–November 30, 2020
Location: Online

While some citizens in our community are suffering from food insecurities and lack of protective equipment, AGA Montgomery and Prince George's County Chapter is thankful to have Nourish Now and Stand Up and Deliver programs to help eliminate food waste and redistribute items to those in need. These programs have taken up the mantle by establishing partnerships with restaurants, grocers, community-based organizations, and small businesses to provide families and first-responders with food and equipment needed to fight through the current pandemic. Both programs set up drives at various locations within the community to deliver food and other items to local families, shelters, and organizations by using volunteers willing to help others.

AGA Montgomery and Prince George's County Chapter recognizes the efforts of Nourish Now and Stand Up and Deliver programs and has set-up a donation drive to support the monetary needs to help these programs continue during the COVID-19 pandemic. We ask for you to support our cause and the community by becoming a community service hero and donate an amount that will make a difference in the lives of children, families, and first-responders by clicking on the link COVID-19 Fundraising Relief to Support Local Food Banks .

Thank you for your time and support!
