Congratulations to Teri Lewis, receipient of the Philadelphia Chapter 2018-2019 National Volunteer of the Year Award!  Teri L. Lewis, CGFM, has over 32 years of government service.  Her outstanding leadership ensures that webinars, luncheons, the tax seminar, and PDT are successfully delivered to our members. In the webinar "Applying Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Programs to address cybersecurity risks" the audience will hear about GAO's recent report "Agencies Need to Fully Establish Risk Management Programs and Address Challenges" and learn about practical steps to address report's key recommendations and build a risk-based approach to cybersecurity. While the topic of ERM has been discussed frequently, the nexus between ERM and cybersecurity is still being defined and tested. The audience with learn about key challenges to establishing a robust and compliant cybersecurity risk management program and the corresponding recommendations on how to achieve better outcomes.

City Controller Rebecca Rhynhart, the first woman elected to the post, was sworn into office in January 2018. Under her leadership, the Controller’s Office is committed to the efficient and effective operation of City government, transparency and good government. In her discussion, Controller Rhynhart will talk about her journey to the office, as well as recently released audits, reports and policy analysis.
