Welcome to the AGA Richmond Chapter website!

The Association of Government Accountants (AGA) is a professional association advancing accountability, transparency and leadership by promoting education, certification, innovation and collaboration across all levels of government and stakeholders. The AGA Richmond Chapter serves local, state, and federal government accountability professionals in the City of Richmond, Chesterfield County, Henrico County, and surrounding areas. Our chapter is one of the largest with over 300 members, which continues to grow by promoting the value of AGA through our educational opportunities, community service, networking, and other chapter activities.

The Chapter Executive Committee (CEC) meets the second Friday of each month to prepare for our educational programs, community service projects, social events, and other chapter activities.  We invite you to become more involved in the chapter by volunteering for a leadership role on the CEC.  Open positions are available and we would be grateful to have you on board.  Please email us or contact any CEC member for more information.

The chapter sponsors monthly training events beginning September through May. Please visit our events calendar for more information.

Has your contact information changed?  Please be sure to contact us as well as the AGA National Office since we maintain separate databases.  For AGA National, log on to My AGA to update your member information.
