Cynthia Barton
Cynthia Barton has been an active member of the Mid-Ohio Valley Chapter since March 2019 and an active member of the Chapter Executive Committee since 2020.
Contributions include:
Exceptional work as Chapter Treasurer, program year 2021-2022, cutting and sending checks many times the same day as the request was approved, filing required documents well ahead of established deadlines, submitting timely and accurate financial reporting to the chapter each month. Cynthia is always organized and efficient. In addition to those responsibilities, Cynthia processes the invoicing for our Chapters Annual Spring Forum, working closely with the Bureau training coordinators and external attendees. Cynthia has trained other CEC personnel in the procedure of invoicing for training.
Cynthia is always quick to volunteer for committees and conference planning. She fills many roles and is a steady participant, seamlessly delivering value and professionalism to every event, while never seeking recognition. Cynthia is a humble and dedicated chapter member who very much deserves this Volunteer of the Year Award.
