Welcome to the 2023-2024 program year Albuquerque Chapter members! Thank you for your membership and continued support of the AGA.
Let me take a moment to introduce myself – My name is Emily Wilson and I am the current AGA Albuquerque Chapter President. I work as an Assurance Manager at CLA in our state and local government industry group. This will be my third year serving on the CEC - the previous two years, I served as the Education Chair, working to bring educational events to our chapter. This program year, I will be working to obtain my Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) designation and invite you to join me! Our chapter offers various resources to help you on this journey, so please reach out to our CGFM co-chairs with questions.
The CEC is hard at work developing a great program year for our membership. This year we will continue to offer continuing education webinars as well as our in-person events: the Winter Series and annual PDT. In addition, we have some exciting membership events and great community service activities planned.
Being a part of the Albuquerque CEC has given me the opportunity to meet and network with professionals throughout the industry. I'm grateful for the opportunity to lead the Chapter to new heights this year.
