Every child deserves to experience the joy of Christmas morning. The Salvation Army Angel Tree program helps provide Christmas gifts for hundreds of thousands of children around the country each year. Once a child or senior adult has been registered and accepted as an Angel their Christmas wish list is shared with donors in your community who purchase gifts of new clothing and toys. The gifts are distributed to the family to place under their family Christmas tree.

From our Chapter Community Service representative, Harry Gatanis:

I think our Chapter had a fantastic Angel Tree showing this year.  Yesterday, I dropped off donations for four angels sponsored by the Chapter and various other leadership-team members, and was profusely thanked on the AGA’s behalf by the friendly Salvation Army staff at the drop-off center in Tucker, GA.  For these four angels, we were able to raise over $1,200 in toys and clothing—the volume of which can be seen in the photos above.

Bookbag Drive

July 29, 2019

The recent AGA bookbag drive was a success and we hope to do it again next year! Thank you to everyone for being open to this initiative and supporting local families with your donations. Attached are some pictures from the event.

A very special thank you our community service officer Julia for organizing donations, and our early careers officer Harry! You both rock.
