AGA serves government accountability professionals by providing quality education, fostering professional development and certification, and supporting standards and research to advance government accountability.
Another exciting year for the AGA - Central Ohio Chapter is underway. Our Chapter Executive Committee (CEC) is hard at work planning for the upcoming months. AGA - Central Ohio Chapter is lucky to have such dedicated volunteers who continue to improve our program year after year.
Please remember we are always looking for new faces and ideas - consider volunteering throughout the year by participating in a sub-committee or accepting a future CEC role. This is your opportunity to have a voice in our educational and program events as well as promote the accounting profession. Excellence in Government Leadership Award
Purpose and Overview:
The AGA - Central Ohio Chapter annually presents an award to a state or local government professional in Ohio who exemplifies and promotes excellence in government financial management, outstanding leadership, high ethical standards and innovative management procedures.
The award recognizes the cumulative achievements of the professional who throughout his/her career has served as a role model for others and has consistently exhibited the highest personal and professional standards.
Nominees need not be an active member of the AGA – Central Ohio Chapter. The award is presented at the annual Chapter AGA Professional Development Training each fall. The 2024 Training will be held at Quest Conference Center on October 21-22, 2024.
