Before we dive into chapter business, I’m excited to share some joyful news with you:

• A new AGA Cleveland officer has arrived! 🎉
  🎉 Mathew was born on June 30, 2025, weighing 8 lb, 9 oz. 🎉
  🎉 Congratulations to the SKC George Bermeo and his wife! 🎉

Meeting Agenda

1. Welcome & Introductions
   • Meet the 2025 AGA Cleveland Officers - Agenda and list of new officers for the 2025 – 2026 program year was shared with attendees.
   • List of new officers is included below.
2. Treasurer’s Update
   • Treasurer and Treasurer-Elect: Brad Cromes, Treasurer met with Jackie Hall-Carrillo, previous Treasurer, to transition duties and responsibilities.
   • Share the locker box key with Raji Welch-Bey, Treasurer - Elect. Brad will look into having a copy made for Raji. Brad checks the PO box every week.
   • Account balance is $2,971.40 as of 5-31-2025. Expense of $102.00 for PO Box which reduces the account balance to $2,869.40 as of 7-18-2025.
   • CDs account balance is $12,998.40.
3. Chapter Reporting
   • Please ensure all chapter reports are current and up to date
   • AGA National is revising the reporting templates. We will need to resubmit our reports, but don’t worry—we will retain our bonus points because our original submissions were made in April. Jeannine Anderson and Balwinder Beasley, President and Immediate Past President, will resubmit the chapter’s reports.
4. Reminders & Upcoming Deadlines
   • ACE Recording Template – Due August 1
   • ACE Handbook
   • Chapter Strategic Goals & Plans Due September 1
   • Chapter Citizen-Centric Report September 1
5. Membership
   • Membership correction for Caroline Halloran has been addressed. Per Dr. Beasley: Membership issues involving Caroline Halloran appearing on the Cleveland Chapter membership roster have been resolved. Jeannine and Dr. Beasley will double check the roster on Friday afternoon to confirm Ms. Halloran appears on the roster.
6. Other Chapter Business
   • Request submitted to AGA National for NCC Meeting Schedule - Confirmed for the following:

· NCC Meeting #2: Wednesday, August 6, 2025 @1 PM – 3 PM ET

· NCC Meeting #3 Wednesday, November 5, 2025 @ 1 PM – 3 PM ET

· NCC Meeting #4 Wednesday, February 4, 2026 @ 1 PM – 3 PM ET

 

7. Summer Picnic - confirmed for Saturday, August 16, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Lakewood Park – Kiwanis Pavilion, 14532 Lake Avenue, Lakewood, OH 44107. Please RSVP by 11:00 AM on Friday, August 8, 2025 with Jeannine Anderson (Jeannine.M.Anderson.civ@mail.mil), Mari Nalls (Mari.J.Nalls.civ@mail.mil), and Narita Moss (Narita.E.Moss.civ@mail.mil). Cost to attend is free for all.

 

8. Conferences i/o – An e-mail was received from Dana Rogers. Cost is $300 per year. For joint AGA / SDFM monthly lunch and learns, the SDFM Zoom account is being utilized and the cost to SDFM is around $192 per year / $16.00 per month approximately. If we need a Conferences i/o account, then additional discussion would be needed and a vote would need to be taken.

9. Recognition Announcement
   • I’m very happy to announce that AGA Cleveland received the Achievement in Chapter Excellence (ACE) Award (GOLD CHAPTER AWARD)! Congratulations to all of you for your hard work and commitment.
   • Dr. Beasley received the Volunteer of the Year Award.

10. Photo Sharing & Social Media

Please remember to take photos at any AGA Cleveland events. We’ve been asked to send chapter pictures to AGA National, so any high-quality images are appreciated. Also, feel free to post updates and photos to LinkedIn or other social media platforms to help promote our chapter’s great work. This is a great way to increase our visibility and celebrate your efforts—don’t hesitate to advertise!

 

11. Tatiana Fonseca, Secretary, will create a LinkedIn Account for AGA Cleveland.
