Leadership Meeting Minutes

Attendees: Jacquelyn Hallcarrillo, Jana Sjoquist, Jason Stitt, Sharon Buggele, Ronald Gedeon, James Gant

Presidential Thank You

Jacquelyn Hallcarrillo gave a "thank you" to all for a great year. Jackie stated that it appears we will have Platinum status for our chapter!

Annual Picnic

August - No date selected

Discussion open for suggestions for a new location of the annual picnic. Jana Sjoquist noted that the burden is on 1 person to get everyone through security at NASA. Jana will check will Paul on availability of another location. Also, discussion on possible switch of day of the week from Saturday to Friday or Sunday.

Monthly Board Meetings

Recurring Leadership Meetings are scheduled for the 2nd Friday of the month at 1 p.m. via 614-701-4444 or 855-719-6909 226500#. Jacquelyn Hallcarrillo stated this line is reserved through August. Jana Sjoquist will setup a new line at that point. There was discussion that the time of meeting may change.

New Leadership Orientation

Teleconference and Dinner

Discussion on doing a teleconference meeting in June with follow up dinner in July or possibly visa versa with a dinner in June and a teleconference meeting in July. Jana Sjoquist will follow up with Jacquelyn Hallcarrillo on the details. Discussion open for suggestions for a location of the dinner. Spouses will be welcome to go to the dinner.

Tour of Coast Guard Cutter

Sharon Buggele stated she is tentatively looking to schedule a tour for the fall. It would tentatively be in the late afternoon. There would be a tour of the Coast Guard Cutter with a social hour across the street afterwards at the Nuevo Modern Mexican and Tequila Restaurant (i.e., address: 1000 E. 9th St., Cleveland, OH 44144; phone: (216) 737-1000).
