  • Congratulations to AGA Hawaii's UH Manoa 2021-2022 academic scholarship recipient, Karly Torii (pictured below: Karly Torii, David Bean and Pamela Young)!
  • Karly Torii, David Bean, and Pamela Young (2021 GPAW)Short Bio: Karly Torii was born and raised in Kapolei, Hawaii. She is pursuing her Master of Accounting degree with a concentration in Data Analytics at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Currently in the midst of taking the CPA exam, she hopes to pass all four sections of the CPA exam by the time she graduates in the fall of 2022 and to obtain her CPA license shortly after. She also strives to one day work for either the State of Hawaii or City and County of Honolulu. 
  • Congratulations to AGA Hawaii's University of Hawaiʻi–West Oʻahu 2021-2022 academic scholarship receipient, Jazmyn Ibaan Carvalho (pictured below). 
  • Short Bio: My name is Jazmyn, and I’m from the Island of Kauai. Some of my favorite things are watching movies like the Harry Potter series and reading; I often reread the Life of Pi by Yann Martel. I graduated in 2020 from Kauai Community College, and in 2021 I began taking classes at UH West Oahu to obtain my bachelor’s degree. I work as an accounting assistant at a tour company. I want to further my education and get my CPA license to help my family and friends with their businesses and personal finances in the future.
