• One crystal award is presented annually at Professional Development Training.
• The award honors a standout accomplishment in the field of government financial management within the last calendar year.
• Open to federal, state, local, tribal, or territorial government professionals.
• Nominees do not have to be members of AGA.
• Nominees must have been employed in government service at the time the work being recognized was performed.

Nominees should exemplify:

• Demonstrated leadership in developing, implementing, or enhancing a financial management process, system, or policy.
• A tangible achievement that improved efficiency, accountability, transparency, or integrity in government operations.
