Andy Barr (1926–1999) was a founding member of AGA and the association’s first National Executive Secretary. His visionary leadership and commitment to ethics, professional development, and collaboration between the public and private sectors helped build AGA’s strong foundation. This award, named in his honor, recognizes private sector leaders who reflect his values and dedication to government accountability.
