About the Award

  • One crystal award is presented each year.
  • Recognizes leadership or outstanding achievement in international government financial management.
  • Nominees must have been employed in government service at the time the work being recognized was performed.
  • Nominees do not have to be AGA members.

Nominees should exemplify:

  • Leadership in advancing financial management practices in international or cross-border government contexts.
  • Measurable contributions that improved transparency, accountability, or efficiency in public financial systems abroad.
  • A commitment to ethical governance, professional excellence, and global collaboration.

Nominations for the 2026 International Achievement Award will open in Spring 2026.
