AGA adheres to the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) standards for CPE programs, which require an attendance verification process for all training events.
Tracking Process
Both paid and free training employ an attendance monitoring system. The Guidelines are provided below. Visit each training’s webpage for additional information, including speaker(s), program description and registration information.
- During the training, you will be required to click on a series of alertness checks that appear at random times. When these alertness check boxes appear, you will have a short period of time to click on the “Continue Viewing” button. To receive CPE credit, you must pass 6 alertness checks.
- Participants who successfully complete this process will receive an email within five (5) business days with instructions on how to download their CPE certificate.
NOTE: You must be able to view the Zoom screen to confirm your participation with the CPE Alertness Checks.
Announcing the alertness checks to fellow attendees in the chat box is against NASBA policy and you may be ineligible to earn the CPE credits for the training.
Session Recordings
Recordings for this training will be available post training for all attendees to access. Please note: Recordings do not offer CPE credits. You must participate in the live streaming or in person to receive credits. Please refer to CPE tracking process above for instructions.
CPE Retrieval
CPE certificates will be available to print online within two weeks after the training, at which time all attendees will receive an email stating that the CPE certificate is ready to download.
