Each year, AGA awards $3,000 academic scholarships to outstanding students pursuing careers in government financial management. Whether you’re just starting college or advancing toward your master’s degree, these scholarships are designed to support your educational journey—and highlight the value of public service.

The 2025 applications are now closed. 2026 applications will open in spring 2026.

Scholarship Details

AGA awards up to 11 scholarships annually, each valued at $3,000, across the following categories:

  • Rising College Freshmen (full-time): 2 scholarships
  • Undergraduate Students (full-time): 4 scholarships
  • Graduate Students (full-time or part-time): 3 scholarships
  • Community Service Scholarships: 2 scholarships awarded to students with outstanding service contributions

Who Is Eligible?

These scholarships are open to full-time or part-time students pursuing degrees in:

  • Accounting
  • Finance
  • Economics
  • Public Administration
  • Information Systems/Technology
  • Or other related fields

Applicants must demonstrate academic achievement, leadership, and commitment to their field of study.
