Bobby Derrick is a retired federal executive who served as the Director for Administrative Services at the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS). In this role, he led the Management Control Program (MCP) and ensured agency-wide compliance with the Federal Managers’ Financial Integrity Act (FMFIA) and OMB Circular A-123. Bobby was instrumental in strengthening internal accounting and administrative controls, conducting post-pay and improper payment audits, and supporting DFAS’s audit readiness, audit resolutions, and financial impact assessments.

Beyond his federal service, Bobby has been a dedicated member of the Association of Government Accountants (AGA), serving as National President from 2004 to 2005 and holding various leadership roles at the chapter level, including Chapter President.
