When did you start AGA?

I became an active member and volunteer leader in 2002—and in September 2026, I was thrilled to step into the CEO role.

What’s the most rewarding part of your job?

Supporting our incredible AGA National staff—and then watching them work their magic for our members, stakeholders, and sponsors.

What’s your favorite AGA memory?

As National President in 2014, I had the honor of leading the selection of Ann Ebberts as CEO. Paying tribute to her remarkable service at the 2026 PDT brought that story full circle—and made it especially meaningful.

What’s your go-to karaoke song?

Anything by Shania Twain—because every karaoke night deserves a little country-pop confidence.

What’s a fun fact about you that may surprise people?

My first career was in broadcast journalism—I went straight from high school to working at a TV station in Fort Myers, Florida. Talk about learning on the air!

What do you like to do outside of work?

I’m a professional artist—mostly a painter—and I live on a small farm, where there are always animals to care for and plenty of attentive listeners.
