Shalini Benson is a creative, curious and compassionate executive coach, leadership educator and Principal of Wobble, a coaching, training and consulting company. With more than 25 years of experience across the federal, nonprofit, and private sectors, she brings deep expertise in leadership development, organizational transformation, and strategic execution. A former member of the federal Senior Executive Service, she has led large teams and multibillion‑dollar portfolios, designed major organizational reforms and supported leaders in navigating complexity, culture, and change. She brings firsthand insight into the pressures and possibilities of public service leadership. She previously served in leadership and analytical roles across OMB, ODNI, the Department of Energy, NIH and FEMA.

Shalini is also an accomplished trainer and curriculum designer, having delivered more than 1,500 hours of leadership, budget and organizational culture training across federal agencies in virtual, in‑person, and hybrid formats. She has facilitated leadership and skills training for public service leaders through the Partnership for Public Service and has created training programs for HHS, DOI and the Federal Budget Line of Business. Known for her clarity, warmth and rigor, she consistently earns excellent participant ratings. In her coaching practice, she has supported clients across the Executive Office of the President, USDA, HHS, DHS, DOI, DOC, GSA and the Architect of the Capitol, with more than 1,300 hours of coaching experience. She has also served as adjunct faculty in Georgetown University’s coach education program.

Shalini is also a mother of three, spouse, daughter, small‑business owner and dedicated community leader. She was a founding Board Member of Girls Global Academy, a Washington, D.C. charter school. Her academic background includes a Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University, a BA from Brandeis University and professional training through the Federal Executive Institute and Georgetown’s Institute for Transformational Leadership.
