Description
This course introduces the four quadrants of emotional intelligence. These include a person’s personal competence (awareness of their emotions), and how the person manages their behaviors and tendencies around those emotions. The course continues to explore social competence — a person’s ability to understand other people’s emotions and manage the quality of their relationships.
Learning Objectives
- Understand the power of being authentically yourself and keys to success in influencing others
- Define the concept of emotional intelligence
- Apply Emotional Intelligence through personal competence and social competence and its four elements (self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, and relationship management)
- Create a plan to improve their own emotional intelligence with the tips and tool provided in this presentation.
