Description
This course introduces the viewer to Trust as a function of both a person’s character and their competence. Exploration of the importance of both and how individuals vary greatly between which is considered more important can be eye opening for those with the opposing opinion. The course explores the “Trust Bank” and viewers will do an activity while watching the course to categorize actions into trust deposits or withdrawals. The course will close with tips and tools of a high trust leader.
This course is designed for financial professionals at all levels and would be suitable for non-financial professionals as well.
Learning Objectives
- Recognize that individuals vary in terms of how/when they decide of they trust someone or not
- Define the concept of a “Trust Bank” and recognize that individuals have a different views in terms of what are considered “trust deposits” and “trust withdrawals”.
- Understand a trust model comprised of two core elements necessary for leaders to demonstrate trustworthiness and credibility – Competence and Character
- Create a plan to improve their own Trustworthiness between colleagues using the tips and tools provided in this presentation
