Standing on a Firm Ethical Foundation Through AGA’s Code of Ethics

What are the ethical obligations of AGA members and CGFMs, and how do they apply to each individual’s practice? In one’s professional life, when should one ask questions, raise concerns and inform oversight bodies, be they internal or AGA? Join a number of current and former Ethics Committee members as they answer these questions, provide guidance related to AGA’s Code of Ethics, and share ethics challenges from their own experiences. Engage in the conversation, learn something new, listen to real experiences and earn CPEs!  

Learning Objectives: 

• Learn about the AGA Code of Ethics.
• Discuss the importance of maintaining the highest professional standards and how to implement them in one’s organization.  
• Hear from current and past Ethics Committee members about their own personal  ethics challenges and how to report an event to the committee.
• Explore the process by which the Ethics Committee evaluates and acts upon a reported ethics violations.
