Executive Committee Minutes

December 12, 2017 12:00 PM

Matt Fickbohm called the meeting to order. Members present: Amanda Were, Darcy McGuigan,  Keith Senger, Heather Nachtigal, Sarah Burtt, Jennifer Schrempp, and Mary Garrett.

Approve Agenda – The agenda was approved as presented.

Approve Minutes -  Jennifer motioned to approve, Darcy seconded the motion, and all members present approved the minutes of the August 8, 2017 meeting as presented. Motion carried.

Treasurer’s Report – There was not activity to present. The President declared the Treasurer’s Report to be filed as presented.

 Accountability – The Chapter CCR is due 12/31/17. Matt will be putting it together. The information he needed to complete the CCR was reviewed and will be gathered.  

Bylaws and Procedures Update – Nothing to report.

Certification – Study guide 2 was requested by a current CGFM candidate and was purchased. The proclamation for AGA month is being prepared

Communications –The next newsletter is set to be published in January 2018.

Community Service – There were 30 total meals provided (15 matched) during the Thanksgiving/Christmas season.

Education –Pierre Mayor Steve Harding presented at the previous AGA luncheon that was catered by CHOPS.

Membership – Nothing to report.

Programs and Technical – No report received.  

Past President and Advisory – Nothing to report.

Chapter Calendar – The nominating committee for 2018-2019 officers will be discussed during the next meeting.

Other Business:  PDC speakers are being coordinated and hope to be decided by the next meeting.

Adjournment – Darcy motioned to adjourn and Meg seconded the motion. The meeting adjourned at 12:48 PM

The next meeting is to be on Tuesday January 9, 2018 at Department of Legislative Audit Conference Room at 12 p.m. CST.
