Executive Committee Minutes

February 13, 2018 12:00 PM

Seth Hipple called the meeting to order. Members present: Jennifer Schrempp, Keith Senger, Darcy McGuigan, Amanda Werre, Matt Fickbohm, and Sarah Burtt.

Approve Agenda – The agenda was approved as presented.

Approve Minutes -  Darcy motioned to approve, Matt seconded the motion, and all members present approved the minutes of the February 13, 2018 meeting as presented. Motion carried.

Treasurer’s Report – Activity on the Treasurer’s Report included receipt of dues, yearly P.O. Box payment, and a deposit for a speaker for the PDC. The President declared the Treasurer’s Report to be filed as presented.

Old Business – There is still an outstanding check for Feeding SD.

Certification – The proclamation from the Governor’s Office declaring March as AGA Month was received.  

Communications –The next newsletter is set to be published in February 2018. The scholarship application deadline is March 1^st.

Community Service – March 1^st is the date for filling backpacks.

Education –Pierre Mayor Steve Harding presented at the previous AGA luncheon that was catered by CHOPS.

Membership – There was 1 new member and lots of renewals during the month of January.  

Programs and Technical – Sarah has been assigned website access for updating.

Past President and Advisory – Nothing to report.

Chapter Calendar – There will be a change to the April meeting as it conflicts with the PDC. It will be held April 3^rd prior to the PDC to discuss any last minute issues.  

Other Business:  

• Matt may be going to the SLM in Kansas City April 19-21. No other interested parties were noted.
• A copy of the agenda for the PDC was provided to the CEC.
• The PDC rates charged for 2018 were motioned for approval by Matt and seconded by Sarah. Approved with a voice vote.

Adjournment –The meeting adjourned at 12:30 PM

The next meeting is to be on Tuesday March 13, 2018 at Department of Legislative Audit Conference Room at 12 p.m. CST.
