President Mary Ellen Garrett called the meeting to order. Members present: Sarah Burtt, Teresa Evans, Seth Hipple, Darcy McGuigan, Jessica Huber, Heather Nachtigal, Jennifer Schrempp, Amanda Werre, and Keith Senger. Members absent: Matthew Fickbohm, Beth Leidholt, and Tonya Johnson.

Approve Minutes - Sarah Burtt motioned to approve, Seth Hipple seconded the motion, and all members present approved the minutes of the May 16, 2017 meeting as presented. Motion carried.

Treasurer’s Report –The Chapter received no revenues in May. The Chapter had several expenses during May: $9,375 for PDT expenses: Ramkota and Excel speaker, $250.00 donation for National’s PDT, $230.00 Feed SD Raffle donation, $10.00 Annual Filing Fee to SD Secretary of State, and $1,000 for the two scholarships, with uncleared checks #2136, 2146, 2139, 2147, 2148, 2149, 2150, 2151 totalling $10,447.01 leaving an account balance of $25,803.06. The President declared the Treasurer’s Report to be filed as presented.

Accountability – Nothing to report.

Bylaws and Procedures Update – No report received.

Certification – Nothing to report.

Communications – The next newsletter is expected to be out July 2017.

Community Service –The Budget Class that was held in May 2017 had four attendees.

Education – Scheduling for 2018 PDT Dates: April 10 & 11, 2018. The new Programs and Technical Director for 2017-2018 will be responsible for setup at the Ramkota. The 2017 PDT made $5, 511.40

Membership – No report received.

Programs and Technical – Nothing to report.

PDT July 9-12 Boston –Members present at meeting are not available to attend.

CEC Officers and Directors 2017-2018: The nominations committee was Amy Juso and Justin Nagel whom approved the nominations.

All current board members emailed their motions to approve the Officers and Directors for 2017 and 2018 on May 25, 2017 and May 26, 2017.

The next meeting time and date is to be determined as this would be an evening meeting to go over goals for the next year for each directorship.
