Executive Committee Minutes

June 9, 2020 12:00 PM

 

Chapter President Amanda Werre called the meeting to order. Other CEC Members present: Sarah Burtt, Matthew Fickbohm, Jacob Harris, Steven Kohler, Darcy McGuigan, and Lacey Walz.

 

Approve Agenda – The agenda was approved as presented.

 

Approve Minutes -  The minutes for the May 12, 2020 CEC meeting were presented via email. Sarah moved approval. Second. Carried.

 

Treasurer’s Report – The Treasurer advised no activity occurred since our last meeting. She advised that she paid the Secretary of State filing using her credit card and requested permission to reimburse herself. Sarah moved the $10 reimbursement be approved. Seconded. Carried.

 

Schedule Review – Webinar occurring 6/10/20 with 30 online seats available.

 

Old Business - None

 

Directors Reports

Accountability – Steven reported that the State of South Dakota CCR has been awarded the certificate of excellence.

Bylaws – Jake is going to send calendar reminders to CEC members for key dates from the bylaws.

Certification – Lacey reported that a CGFM Study Guide online subscription is now available for $50 per guide for a 6-month subscription.

Communications – Matt presented a draft newsletter for CEC review. Members will provide feedback and the President will provide a Presidents Message.

Community Service – No report received.

 

Education – The CEC discussed looking into online conference services as a backup if PDC 2021 would need to be held online rather than in person as a result of health safety.

Membership – The President presented a report of chapter members who have not renewed. CEC members will be reaching out to various folks about membership.

Programs & Technical – Nothing to note.

Early Education – Nothing to note.

 

New Business - None.

 

Adjournment - Steven moved to adjourn. Seconded. Carried. The meeting was adjourned at 12:52 PM.

 

The next meeting will be the annual planning meeting to be scheduled via email by President-elect Sarah Burtt.
