Executive Committee Minutes
March 11, 2020 12:00 PM

Amanda Werre called the meeting to order. CEC Members present: Lacey Walz, Jake Harris, Keith Senger, Allysen Kerr, Darcy McGuigan, Sarah Burtt, and Heather Nachtigal.

Approve Agenda – The agenda was approved as presented.
Approve Minutes - Darcy motioned to approve prior meeting minutes, Sarah seconded the motion, and all members present approved the minutes of the February 11, 2020 meeting. Motion carried.
Treasurer’s Report – The report was approved as presented. Darcy reported that 1099’s were mailed in January. Also, prior month expenses included PDC binders and tablecloths.
Schedule Review – AGA is hosting a Leaders webinar. Lacey and Amanda tentatively plan to listen.
Sarah and Steven are making arrangements to attend Lead!2020.

Old Business – Nothing to report.

Directors Reports
Accountability – We received a Certificate in Excellence for our CCR.
Certification – Lacey has obtained a CGFM Month proclamation from the State and is currently working on a City of Pierre proclamation. She is also preparing gifts for CGFM holders to celebrate CGFM month.
Communications – No report.
Community Service – We are scheduled to fill backpacks on Thursday, March 12.
Education – No report.
Membership – No report.
Programs & Technical – No report.
Early Education – No report.

New Business –
Keith motioned to remove chapter dues for student members. Darcey seconded. Motion carried.

PDC
The group discussed speaker and logistic updates for the 2020 PDC.
• Darcy: Currently working with Eide Bailly, they will provide three speakers for the PDC. Darcey will send them the contract.
• Set the registration deadline of April 17th. There will be a late fee for any registrations received after the deadline, and all payments are due by the 1st day of the conference.
• Darcy motioned to purchase a cart and convertor for PDC use. Lacey seconded. Motion carried.
• Allysen motioned to provide pop for afternoon breaks. Darcy seconded. Motion carried.

Adjournment –The meeting adjourned at 12:46 PM.

The next meeting is to be on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at Department of Legislative Audit Conference Room at 12 p.m. CST.
