AGA offers individuals several in-person training opportunities each year for members and non-members to stay updated on the latest news, trends and technology in their fields through training sessions and interactions with others; to earn valuable CPE for certification in a short period of time; and to network with colleagues from around the country and globe.

Professional Development Training (PDT) is AGA's largest event and is the premier training event in government finance, bringing together experts in each field for four days of professional development. Each of AGA's other events focuses on a key part of government financial management, such as fraud prevention or financial systems.
