AGA has been monitoring the evolving situation on COVID-19 virus both in the U.S. and around the globe.  Due to the public health emergency we are all currently facing, we have made a decision to move a few of AGA upcoming events to a later date (see below).  Please know that all decisions will be made with our AGA community's best interest in mind. 

PDT 2020 Update:

AGA continues to monitor the COVID-19 outbreak.  At this time, preparations for PDT  2020 in Dallas are moving forward as planned. AGA and the host hotel are working together closely to protect the safety and welfare of all our PDT participants.  AGA is following the recommendations of the World Health Organization and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and will comply with relevant national, state, and local laws and regulations.

ERM Workshop — Friday, June 12, 2020 at the Ronald Reagan Building

RPA Workshop — Thursday, June 25, 2020 at Ronald Reagan Building

FY 2019 CEAR Award Ceremony (Invitation only) — Thursday, August 6, 2020 at the Marriott Marquis

Note: Registration of all attendees will be transferred to the new date.


Group participants (with a site coordinator) — Site coordinators for the Cybersecurity and the Ethics webinar will recieve an assigned voucher code to send to the individuals within their group to receive their own access link to attend the webinar, at no additional cost.

Personal precautions you Can Take To Protect Yourself

  • Remember to observe common sense precautions from the CDC to help keep yourself and others healthy and prevent the spread of flu, common colds and other respiratory infections.
  • Wash hands often with soap and water.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands.
  • Cover your mouth/nose with a tissue or sleeve when coughing or sneezing.
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • Notify medical staff right away if you feel sick, especially if you experience symptoms like:
    • Persistent cough or sneezing
    • Fever
    • Difficulty breathing
