Founded in 1950 as the Federal Government Accountants Association (FGAA), AGA has evolved over the decades to become a leading voice in government accountability. Our organization broadened its reach in 1975 to include state and local government finance professionals, and in 2022, we proudly rebranded as AGA. Our Chapter is one of many nationwide, but what sets us apart is our commitment to fostering a vibrant community of public service professionals dedicated to improving government accountability and transparency.
Our Chapter is driven by a volunteer board of passionate individuals who are committed to creating a valuable membership experience. Whether you’re new to the field or a seasoned expert, our networking events, continuing professional education (CPE) opportunities, and community outreach initiatives are designed to support your career development and professional excellence.
