Dear Members and Colleagues,
As I assume the honor of Presidency over the Atlanta Chapter of the AGA, I would like to confirm my commitment to current and future members of our great organization.
Over the past year, we have faced many new challenges—not the least of which involving the ongoing COVID pandemic. Nevertheless, we have shown strength and enthusiasm when faced with these obstacles. We have given of our time and of our effort, and have grown as an organization—not only in size, but in perspective and background. I am proud of the resilience and adaptability we have shown during this time and look forward to seeing how our determination will continue to support financial communities in the days and months to come.
As a progressive and ever-evolving organization, we seek to provide our members with enriching professional experiences and rewarding educational opportunities. In doing so, I hope we may continue to make the AGA a place where stakeholders in governmental financial management share their voices and learn from one another. Please join us this year. Our executive panel welcomes anyone aspiring to impactful leadership, our guest speakers welcome anyone seeking meaningful conversation, and our community-serving partners welcome anyone championing compassionate outreach.
Please let me know how the AGA and I can best support you in our shared devotion to efficient, effective, and economical financial management at all levels of government. I am at your service!
All my best,
T. Matthew Coleman, CGFM, CFE
President
