On October 17th, our Chapter President, Matt Coleman, represented the Georgia Department of Audits and Accounts at Kennesaw State University’s Government and Non-profit Career Fair. While engaging with the next generation of public service professionals, Matt was able to share his enthusiasm for public service and the profound impact a career in the public sector can make.
With an impressive turnout, Matt connected with a number of driven, bright students that were eager to explore careers that make a difference in government and non-profit. Many of these students were also excited to learn more about AGA’s Free Student Membership program, which provides unique benefits designed to prepare them for impactful roles in government and non-profit sectors. Through AGA, student members gain access to invaluable resources, skill-building opportunities, and networking with seasoned professionals—helping them build a strong foundation for a successful career.
We’re grateful to have passionate members like Matt who understand the importance of inspiring young talent and actively fostering connections that promote a rewarding career in public service. Agencies’, like the Georgia Department of Audits and Accounts, dedicated to early recruitment efforts play a critical role in bridging students to meaningful opportunities.
Consider using your AGA membership to encourage students to expand their professional network, explore career paths in public service, and contribute to shaping a brighter future for our community and nation. Together, let’s empower the next generation to lead with purpose!
