Presidents Message
Hello AGA Baltimore Chapter Members,
Welcome to the 2024-2025 Program Year! I am excited and honored to have been chosen to serve as your AGA Baltimore Chapter President this year. I officially joined AGA in 2016 after experiencing the great trainings and networking events that the chapter offers. Since joining I have made great connections that have helped me throughout my career. I have had the opportunity to serve on several of the Chapter Executive Committees (CEC) and attend numerous AGA National Events.
I would like to thank our immediate Past-President, Mike Klausmeier, for his great leadership and dedication to improving our chapter. I would also like to thank our dedicated CEC who are the backbone of this chapter’s success and Platinum recognition. This years CEC is one that I am very proud to serve alongside. In addition to our great leadership that have continuously poured into our chapter over the years, we have added some new faces to bring new ideas to the CEC. It is my hope to continue the great progress that we have made over the past few years since the abrupt disruptions that COVID caused.
Our most important priority as a chapter is our members. We are only as good as the folks we serve. Your CEC needs to hear from you. We are always looking for ways to improve the chapter. Please share your ideas or volunteer to get involved.
We are in our revitalization stage. We have a lot of great things planned for this year. In addition to our well received CPE trainings, we will host several community service and social events. We will be offering several opportunities for our members to be active within the chapter. In addition, we will be providing several resources to help our members in the pursuit of the CGFM certification. Our goal is to ensure our members are receiving the great benefits that come with being a member of AGA Baltimore’s Chapter.
Goals
- Advance our chapter to become a top ‘Platinum’ chapter.
- Grow by increasing engagement amongst members and our outreach in the community.
- Accelerate our members in their careers through learning and CGFM credentialing.
