2025 COAGA Chapter Scholarships

The Central Ohio Chapter of the AGA (COAGA) will be awarding five scholarships to active members, or other selected candidates who are currently enrolled in full or part-time study in a college or universities accounting, business, finance, or computer science programs (or college acceptance pending).  Children/grandchildren of an active AGA member who are currently enrolled in full or part-time study in a college or university with any major also qualify (or college acceptance pending).

Award Amounts:                            Five scholarships, up to $1,000 each

Closing Date for Applications:      April 4, 2025

Award Announcement:                  No later than May 31, 2025

Excellence in Government Leadership Award

Purpose and Overview:

The AGA - Central Ohio Chapter annually presents an award to a state or local government professional in Ohio who exemplifies and promotes excellence in government financial management, outstanding leadership, high ethical standards and innovative management procedures.

The award recognizes the cumulative achievements of the professional who throughout his/her career has served as a role model for others and has consistently exhibited the highest personal and professional standards.

Nominees need not be an active member of the AGA – Central Ohio Chapter. The award is presented at the annual Chapter AGA Professional Development Training each fall.
