The Community Service Committee has been given the opportunity to support a few non-profit groups in our local area.  It is our goal is to support organizations who have a significant impact on local community members.

For our second consecutive year, we have partnered with Mary Ford Early Learning & Family Center for our Reading Buddy initiative. Participating members have found time in their schedules to visit the school each week and read to children that might need some additional help. Watching these youngsters grow and learn is such a rewarding experience!

This past year, we worked with local community leaders to install a “blessing box” in North Charleston,
which provides access to food donations for those in need. We are excited to be making such a
positive impact in our local community! The address for the "blessing box" we sponsored is
3180 Thomasina McPherson Blvd, North Charleston, SC 29405.

In February, a group of members participated in a “Show Our Neighbors Some LOVE” event just in time for Valentine’s Day. We volunteered at a nearby church with Neighbor’s Together. We helped with prepping vegetables and serving meals to local neighbors.

Want to join the fun in giving back to our community? There are plenty of opportunities to put your talent, skills, and heart to work.
