DISCUSSION

• Chapter Bylaws: Jana asked everyone to review the Bylaws draft. We need to vote on the final version and submit to AGA National. Even though AGA has provided a template for policies and procedures, she left these in the Bylaws. She explained that we would need to take more time to develop these because they contain references and procedures that may be difficult for our Chapter to do.

• AGA//ASMC - Sunday, September 15: Jana asked if there were others who were interested in helping Lou with the picnic. She mentioned that she has a GRC volunteer from the members and would provide her name. John K., Balwinder B., and Roderica also said they would be interested on being a part of the committee. Jana S. will let Lou know about those interested.

• Jackie H-C talked about the Diversity Day Fair to be held on August 7^th at DFAS. Balwinder B. and John K. volunteered their time to assist.

• Other Events/Items:

  • Jana S. reminded everyone about the upcoming Komen Cleveland MORE THAN PINK Walk™ on Saturday, August 10^th, and the St Jude Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer on Saturday, September 28^th. She said she would put together a member email with the information and send out again.
