Leadership Meeting Minutes
December 8, 2017
Attendees: Jacquelyn Hallcarrillo, Jason Stitt, Sharon Buggele, John Kanya, Ronald Gedeon, Haley Proszek, and Charles (Toni) Harris
Bar Louie Social Event
Thursday, January 25
4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Sharon Buggele will contact Bar Louie to schedule the party for Thursday, January 25 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. AGA to buy appetizers for around 20 people. Members buy their own drinks.
Community Service Event
January and February
Community service events mid January or mid February with craft or entertainment at Ronald McDonald House, University Circle. Sharon will contact Ronald McDonald House on Monday about the 2 events: one for January and one for February. No funds will potentially come from AGA. However, Jackie stated AGA would assist will minimal costs of crafts around $20. Discussion on the possibility of doing an interactive event with the kids.
Resume Writing Clinic
February
Sharon Buggele and Toni Harris to help setup a tentative Go To Meeting. Discussion on doing a phone conference call for more individuals to attend in addition to having a conference room at DFAS and NASA for those employees. Jackie mentioned the possibility of sending out the PowerPoint ahead of time to attendees.
Interview Clinic
March
Discussion on doing a speaker with a panel discussion of supervisors from DFAS and NASA for what they are looking for in an interviewee. Toni Harris to talk with Vickie from HR at NASA about her possible involvement. Toni will also check potential NASA interest for the event. Jackie mentioned there would possibly be CPE credit for the event.
Spring Conference
April
Haley Proszek is taking the lead on the event to get speakers, etc. Haley stated she has had a meeting with other volunteers assisting her. She will setup a weekly recurring meeting beginning in the new year, after the holidays.
Elections
Tentatively in April.
Previous discussion stated that if the prospective names for positions are posted early, it will earn the AGA chapter points.
Tour of Coast Guard Cutter
May or June
Discussion on a tour of the Coast Guard Cutter with a social hour across the street afterward. Sharon Buggele to follow up with Bradley, George, and Mr. Lindsey from the Coast Guard.
Sectional Leaders Meeting
Thursday, Friday, Saturday, May 3-5, Baltimore
AGA to send 2 people. Jackie Hallcarrillo stated it would be good to send Jana Sjoquist as the president coming in. The dates of May 3-5 are for 2017, so Jackie will double check the dates. Jana was interested in going. Jackie was also interested in going. Jackie did not go last year. Potentially, these would be our 2 people. Jackie will follow up with Jana. Jackie will check her schedule because she may or may not be able to attend based on the dates.
Potential Event
AGA Speaker Notre Dame
Jackie stated that AGA could potentially follow up with the college professor member who stated that she would potentially be able to get an AGA speaker at Notre Dame and/or John Carroll, Tri C West. Jackie stated this could be an event in the next year.

Recruiting Open House
Discussion on doing a recruiting event at DFAS and NASA or possibly a brewery like Fat Heads. Toni Harris, John Kanya, and Ron Gedeon volunteered to possibly help with recruiting.

ACL(Audit Command Language) Overview Clinic
Discussion on a video teleconference to show the screens from DFAS to NASA employees. ACL is a software package that DFAS uses for analytics developed by a company in Canada for audit. A room would potentially be reserved at NASA and DFAS.

CGFM - Proclamations
Ron Gedeon stated he will look into a proclamation on CGFM certification by levels of government to earn the AGA chapter points.
