Discussed obtaining the past year expenses by category to be able to build a more accurate budget going forward. Michael and Jene will work on gathering information from past statements

Michael proposed opening an additional CD: Board discussed the plan before a motion was made and approved. $3,000 will be moved into a 12-month CD. Once we have a budget, the Board will evaluate the possibility of moving additional funds into short term investments.

Spring 2019 PDT: Discussed a few of the barriers, to include getting members more involved in volunteering and assisting the Chapter. Various venues were discussed to obtain member assistance. In the interim, Michael and Jason both identified that they are available to assist more in ASMC’s planning; Jackie and Jana have also been identified to assist. ASMC is still gathering available conference area proposals and planning to visit new proposals.

Sharon Buggele will work with the Ronald McDonald House for 3 event dates. Events may be assembling bagged meals, cleaning, or assisting with crafts/activities. More information and volunteer registration will be posted on the Chapter website.

Sharon Buggele will check with the Coast Guard on the training and tour event. We were also looking to have a social for attendees at a nearby restaurant following the event.

Have not heard anything on the Century Federal Credit Union for a possible fall CPE opportunity for a financial presentation. Michael and Jana will follow-up. Timeframe would likely shift to early December at the earliest.

Jason Stitt provided event information for the Team Challenge of Cleveland charity his family has been involved with for many years. Information was posted on the Chapter website.
