Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) is a professional certification awarded by AGA, demonstrating comptenecy in government accounting, auditing, financial reporting, internal controls, and budgeting at the federal, state, and local levels.
The Trenton Chapter is offering the CGFM Achievement Scholarship - an award for CGFM applicants that reimburses the scholarship winner for the cost of study materials and exam fees (maximum of $250).
Requirements are as follows:
- Must be an AGA Trenton Chapter Member in good standing.
- Must be a government employee.
- Must have passed 2 of 3 parts prior to applying.
- Must fill out application before taking the final exam in order to establish commitment from the Chapter for the scholarship.
Scholarship will only be paid if all 3 exams are passed within the timeline established by the AGA to achieve certification.
