2023 Government Accountability Scholarship Application
AGA Virginia Peninsula Chapter is pleased to offer one (1) Government Accountability Scholarship of $1,000 to a college junior, senior, or graduate student pursuing a public service career in government accountability. Individuals can apply through the Hampton Roads Community Foundation between December 1, 2023 and March 1, 2024.
*Note: The scholarship amount varies based upon market conditions, but is expected to be approximately $1,000.00 and renewable.
Scholarship Criteria
The scholarship is aimed at students from Hampton Roads, Eastern Shore of Virigina, the Middle Peninsula, and/or the Northern Neck who have at least a 3.0 GPA, have demonstrated keen interest in pursuing a public service career in government financial management and accountability, and have declared a major in a relevant field.
Preference shall be given to students attending universities in the Hampton Roads area.
