Access AGA’s COVID-19 Resource Exchange

President’s Message

June 2020

In May, Phoenix AGA held two events virtually.  The first event on May 13th was an audio conference on Fraud Data Analytics, worth two (2) CPE.  The second event was on May 27th, worth two (2) CPEs, on the topic of Capital Asset Reporting.  I want to thank those that attended both events, and I also would like to thank our speakers for the 5/27 event on Capital Asset Reporting, Joshua Jumper and Chris Goeman, for being so accommodating to shift from a live presentation to a virtual format.

We have one more event in June, before we conclude our 2019-2020 program year for the summer.  On June 10th we will hold a virtual audio conference on the topic of Taking Care of People – Leadership that Matters, which is worth two (2) CPE.  As the event nears, you will be provided with additional instructions on confirming your information for virtual attendance.  Also, don’t forget that AGA National will offer its annual PDT this summer, on July 20th through 22nd.  This event is worth 21 CPEs, and this year it will be held exclusively online.  To find out more about this event, click here

If you are not a member of the AGA, or let your renewal lapse, and are interested in joining, just go to the AGA website, and click join, or renew. You will need to create login information, if you do not already have credentials.  It is as easy as that.  Speaking of membership, we would like to welcome our newest member; Lori from WAPA.  Welcome, Lori!

Just a reminder, you can keep informed about all of our upcoming events, as well as take advantage of the COVID-19 Resource Exchange, by navigating to our website.  Thank you again for your support of the Phoenix Chapter!  Have a great summer everyone, and thank you for allowing me to be the President of the Phoenix Chapter for the last two years.  It was an honor.  As we head into a new Chapter year in July, I pass the torch off to Jordan Dale as the new President for our Chapter.  Thank you, Jordan.
