CHAPTER PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT MEETING/TRAINING

AGA Silicon Valley Chapter provides quality continuing professional education (CPE) opportunities as a service to its members and to the government accountability profession. This is accomplished, in part, by the professional development meeting, which also provides opportunities for professional development, facilitates the exchange of ideas, promotes quality financial management, and brings people together to network who are in the field of government finance and other accountability professions. In addition, those attending enjoy camaraderie and generally an hour instruction of general interest to government accountants, auditors, analysts, senior financial managers and executives, and other finance professionals.

Meeting participants come from federal, city, county, and local agency with different specialties, such as accounting, auditing, financial and budget analysis, contract management, and financial management.

Due to the coronavirus (Covid-19) related restrictions, in-person (attendance) trainings are temporarily suspended. However, we continue to offer training through Online/Webinar.
