This opportunity is provided by The Office of the Comptroller (CTR) in conjunction with the Boston Chapter of the Association of Government Accountants (AGA).

What is CGFM?
Certified Government Financial Manager® (CGFM®) is a professional certification awarded by the Association of Government Accountants (AGA), demonstrating competency in governmental accounting, auditing, financial reporting, internal controls and budgeting at the federal, state, and local levels. It is one of only two preferred financial certifications as listed by Mass HRD. It is a credential which exemplifies experience and proficiency; distinguishing individuals who have made a significant commitment to their professional development and the citizens of the Commonwealth.
