CGFM Examination
The Boston Chapter will annually award up to five (5) paid scholarships to reimburse an individual for the fees involved in taking the AGA CGFM exam.
The individuals will also be reimbursed for the CGFM application fee if they successfully pass part one on the first attempt.

CGFM Preparation Material and Examination Reimbursement Policy
The Association of Government Accountants (AGA) Boston Chapter is proud to support our members in obtaining their Certified Government Financial Manager® (CGFM) designation.
Active association members (members with current dues paid) will be reimbursed the cost of either training modules, study guides, or practice exams as well as examination fees for each of the three (3) sections of the exam up to a maximum total of $500 per association member. There is a limited amount of reimbursements to cover up to five individuals, which is available on a first come, first served basis until the five slots for the program are filled or funds for the program year are exhausted. (Members do not qualify if your employer has reimbursed you for such expenses.)

AGA Boston will reimburse the costs of either training modules, study guides, or practice exams that are purchased from AGA.
Study Guides
AGA offers CGFM study guides in two convenient formats: the print / hard copy version and online access.
- Print Version: study guides are now available in the AGA CGFM Bookstore. The study guides now include a binder.
- Online Access: study guides are now available online through a six-month subscription. The guides can be viewed on- and off-line, through an app.

Training Modules: AGA offers CGFM Training Modules, which are currently available in course bundles for all portions of the CGFM exams. These modules are currently available for purchase at https://cgfm.learnupon.com/store.
Practice Exams: In addition to study guides, AGA provides practice exams for use in studying for the CGFM exam. | Purchase and/or access practice exams.
Reporting
Members should refer to the CGFM certification webpage (AGA Boston Chapter (agacgfm.org)) for the most current CGFM/Professional Certification Director to report their documentation. The following documentation must accompany the email provided for each type of reimbursement.
CGFM Study Preparation Materials: To be eligible for reimbursements, you must submit the following:
- Intention Statement with contact information (email address and phone number)
- Proof you have scheduled the exam
- Proof of payment
- Mailing address
- AGA member number
CGFM Exam Rebate: To be eligible for reimbursements, you must submit the following:
- Copy of passing certification
- Proof of payment
- Mailing address
- AGA member number
