Chapter History

Whereof what's past is prologue, what to come in yours and my discharge - Shakespeare

Dallas became AGA Chapter 16 on November 14, 1956, the first in Texas with an initial membership of 36.  We have celebrated many successes over these 60 years.  We are very proud to have lifetime members that are still active in the chapter and attend our events.  I am sure they will be happy to regale you with tales of yesteryear and talk out how different the government financial profession is today.

This history is dedicated to all the past and present members with the hope that it will inspire the future members to keep the Dallas AGA chapter a worthwhile and successful organization.

If you have any corrections, or if you would like us to memorialize an event or person in our history, please contact Regina Stevenson, AGA Dallas Chapter Secretary.
