AGA Indianapolis Chapter
A robust chapter fostering learning, leadership, networking, certification and collaboration for professionals committed to advancing government accountability. We work hard but we play hard too!

AGA's Community Service Committee (Stephanie Dunfee and Catherine Henshaw) and Social Committee Chair Clarence Hill Jr. were excited to collect multiple school supplies for students in Guyana, South America. With an average per capita income of $4,000, most in Guyana can barely afford the basic necessities we take for granted. The drive collected composition wide-ruled notebooks, single-subject and 5-subject notebooks, pens, pencils, crayons, rulers, glue, backpacks, folders and pencil boxes to make sure the students are provided with the supplies needed to make this a successful school year. The drive took place between August 14 - 27, 2019, and AGA members and DFAS employees came together to fill the collection box displayed in the lobby. All materials are in the process of being shipped out, where they will be distributed at area police stations in Guyana through community outreach officers.
Thank you to all members who came together to support the mission and provide assistance to others on a global basis! We will continue this drive in future years thanks to the success of the event.
