Annually, the Montgomery/Prince George’s County Chapter of the AGA hosts the Citizen-Centric Report (CCR) Scholarship Contest, where we recruit teams of 2-4 students from local universities in the state of Maryland to compete in preparing their own CCRs. The purpose of the contest is to prepare an informative CCR on a specific government entity within the state of Maryland. Submissions are evaluated by the chapter’s Accountability Outreach Committee based on several factors, including meeting the basic elements of a CCR, overall presentation of the report, and evaluation of the relevant facts presented within the report.
We would like to extend our congratulations to the below winners of the 2020 CCR Scholarship Contest!!! For a third consecutive year, Morgan State University has fielded this year’s winning team (Enysia Mance, Paige Chatmon, Elizabeth Olusola and Manish Thapa). A short bio of each of these rising stars is presented in our Featured Member Section of the website.
