We will have both in person and virtual meetings. Our virtual meetings will be held thoughout the fall. The cost of the virtual meetings will be up to $15.

The chapter holds monthly meetings from September through May. Meetings usually occur on the second Wednesday of each month.  During the meetings, we will have live speakers discuss a variety of topics. The learning objectives of our meetings include learning new management techniques and practical tips to increase efficiency in government financial operations. You do not need to bring anything to the meetings. The meetings are open to all that are interested in attending, including government employees, private sector, CPAs, CGFMs, students, etc.

You will earn CPEs for attending in a variety of topics, including but not limited to Governmental Accounting, Auditing, and Financial Management. We are now NASBA certified!

AGA Montgomery/Prince George's County Chapter is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors.
