We are an organization serving government financial and oversight management professionals in the greater Seattle, Puget Sound, and Washington State area. The AGA serves professionals in the government financial management community by:
 

• Fostering professional growth and development
• Providing quality, continuing professional education events and opportunities supporting certification
• Facilitating networking with other government professionals
• Supporting standards and research to advance government accountability
• Hosting luncheons for social opportunities, professional development, and CPE credits

Since 1950, AGA has been–and remains today–the educational organization dedicated to the enhancement of public financial management. AGA serves the professional interests of government accountability managers, from local, state and federal governments, as well as public accounting firms. AGA also welcomes non-profits and private sector employees who support implementation of government management.
