AGA’s Young Professional membership category is open to professionals with fewer than three years of ANY experience.  Young Professional membership is an opportunity to learn from and network with government accountability professionals involved at all levels of government – from the local to the Federal level.  Our chapter includes members from entities ranging from City of Seattle, King County, and Port Gamble S’Klallam Tribe; to the State Auditor’s Office and University of Washington; to the US Government Accountability Office (GAO), US Department of Health & Human Services, and the Coast Guard.  Luncheon meetings are an opportunity to meet and network with other government professionals.

We are always looking for members at all levels to get involved in our activities, and as members of our chapter board.  Participation on the board is a great way to get to know other AGA members, and learn about their experiences in government.  If you are interested in joining the board or learning more, please feel free to contact us at info.agaseattle@gmail.com.

Young Professional members meeting certain requirements also have an opportunity to apply for the Young Professionals PDT Scholarship.  This provides registration and hotel scholarships for the Professional Development Training (PDT), at which one can obtain up to 24 CPEs, and which provides an amazing opportunity to network with government accountability professionals from around the country.  You can learn more about this opportunity by visiting the AGA website.
