Each year, AGA's National President presents the Volunteer of the Year Award to one member from each chapter, recognizing the recipient's service to the chapter. Nominate your chapter's 2021-2022 Volunteer of the Year and reward their extraordinary work! 

Nominations are due by May 31, 2022. 

Calling all Student (and Prospective Student) Members – Be sure to take advantage of AGA’s offer to attend the National Leadership Training (NLT) Conference for FREE! In 2022, the conference has both in-person and virtual options to reach as many as possible. Click here for more information. Note: This event normally costs anywhere between $450 and $700 to attend, but is being offered to students for free this year. Make sure to attend as many sessions of this two-day event as you can, and do not miss the outstanding Keynote Speakers! If you are not yet registered as an AGA member, it’s free, so join today.

Thank you to all our members who helped to support the Wreaths Across America event at the Hampton National Cemetary! 

We are having a fundraiser for St. Mary's Home in Norfolk as part of the AGA Commonwealth PDT this week.  Please feel free to give if you can! 

St. Mary's Fundraiser - We will be collecting donations through Friday, December 10th!

Our Chapter President Evelyn Stallings will be starting a new job as a DCAA Auditor, and Chapter CGFM/Professional Certification POC Claudia Ohar recently passed her CGFM Exam #1!

This is the time for gratitude, the time to recognize how fortunate we are. I am thankful for life, for work, for health, for family and for friends and colleagues who are like family members. I am particularly thankful for all of you, especially for those who volunteer, who encourage us through participation, and give your time to others …you make our team awesome.

I hope each of you have a fun and beautiful holiday, full of joy, friends and family. Enjoy this precious time remembering how different last year was.
